You need to prepare things like: 7 inches of medium white feather boas, 4 medium white feather boas, 2 white long sleeved leotards, yellow tights, polyester fiberfill stuffing, canvas shoes, yellow latex gloves, a white baseball hat, two 8 by 12 inch orange felt pieces, two large wiggly eyes, hot glue gun, safety pins, and a black marker.





First, place one of the two leotards inside the other. Be sure that both the arm and leg openings match up. Next, you need to stitch the legs together. Stuff the polyester fiberfill stuffing between these two leotards. Make sure that the neck openings match up. Have them sewn together. This goes for the body part of the chicken costume.





Second procedure is to make the head. Using the orange felt, you have to cut two large triangles. Then, squeeze them on either side of the hat brim. Have them bonded together. Now, you need to create the nostrils by attaching two black buttons. To come up with the chickenís eyes, fasten two google eyes. Then at the peak of the hat, fasten a red boa "comb".





Itís time to create the feet. Have the latex gloves filled with fiberfill. Place it palms down. You need to put the childís shoe within each of these gloves. Pull the gloves tightly and ensure that they are glued to the shoes.





Now, you have to start putting the whole costume together. Your child has to wear the leotard. Wrap the white feather boas onto the shoulders, arms, and body. Use safety pins to sure that the boas donít fall. The safety pins should keep the boas secured. Let your child put on the hat. Now, youíre seeing a child ready for Halloween.
